How to participate?

The All India Olympiad (AiO) program is a national-level competition that follows a two-stage process for both Science and Mathematics. To know more about this process please click here.

Registration of Students

  • The All India Olympiad is open to the students of classes 6 to 12.
  • Prospectuses containing registration forms are sent to all schools already registered with All India Olympiad (AiO).
  • Schools not registered may request a prospectus by emailing info@allindiaolympiad.org or by calling our office.
  • Schools must complete and return the registration forms in full before the stipulated deadline.
  • Please note, registrations are only accepted through the respective schools. Individual student registrations will not be entertained.

Roll Number Assignment

  • The school's coordinating teacher is responsible for filling out the School Registration Form (SRF) and the Students’ Registration Sheet (SRS) in accordance with the provided guidelines.
  • These forms must be submitted to the All India Olympiad (AiO) office before the due date. All India Olympiad (AiO) will then register the school and its students, and generate unique roll numbers for each participant.

Distribution of Examination Materials

  • Once registration is complete, All India Olympiad (AiO) will register the school and dispatch the question papers along with detailed guidelines for conducting the examination.
  • Any school can register as an examination centre. No additional fee is required from the institution to become a registered centre.

Scheduling the Examination

  • The All India Olympiad (AiO) is conducted on multiple separate dates. Each school may select the most convenient date for conducting the examination.
  • Each exam date will feature a distinct question paper, and changes in the scheduled date are not permitted.

Registration Fee

  • Schools are required to pay a registration fee of ₹299 (including GST) per student per Olympiad.

Additional Guidelines for the Examination Day

  • Schools should ensure that all students are informed about the examination guidelines, required stationery, and arrival times.
  • The school's coordinating teacher will manage the examination process and ensure that all protocols are followed as per All India Olympiad (AiO) team instructions.
