Syllabus for All India Astronomy Olympiad
Adhering to the protocols set by NEP (2020), NCF (2023), and the guidelines from NCERT, CBSE, ICSE as well as National and various State Boards, any modifications or reductions in the syllabus will be accurately reflected in the final question papers for the convenience of schools and students. Any candidate aspiring to participate in All India Astronomy Olympiads (aIAO) should:
- Be thoroughly familiar with all topics covered in Science and Mathematics topics studied till Class 10.
- Understand that, in addition to the below topics, additional subjects need focused preparation for the Olympiad examinations.
Astronomy syllabus comprises of the following three parts:
- Physics
- Mathematics
- Elementary Astronomical notions
